get a better understanding of the tax system in
the U.S. and in the State of CT

read and understand an employee pay stub

be aware of potential financial challenges for
couples when it comes to love and money in relationships
The course entails several practical simulation exercises using the web
and Excel including: tracking personal cash flows, check writing and keeping
your checking account registry up to date, as well as calculating mortgage
and car financing costs.
